Bio: Ramon Vicencio is a Master of Applied Science student in Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University, where he studies attosecond metrology techniques. He earned his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from BCIT in 2023, graduating with distinction and winning both the Western and Canadian Engineering Competitions in the Engineering Communications category during his final year.
His interests include quantum electronics, photonics, semiconductor physics, and electromagnetics, with a long-term goal of contributing to the development of quantum technologies. Originally from the Philippines, Ramon enjoys working on cars, building LEGO, traveling, and sharing his passion for science through tutoring and mentorship.
