The purpose of this tutorial is to learn more about how our designs
engender spatial experience. A primary, perhaps the primary, criterion
for architecture and landscape architecture is the quality of the experiences
it engenders for people. The experiences created by forms can be surprising—it
is often quite difficult to predict an experiential quality from the
form alone. You have to "get inside" your work and experience for yourself.
This tutorial gives you an opportunity to practice this "getting inside."
This tutorial is similar in spirit to the second assignment in this
subject (which is entitled Experience and Form). It should give you
some experience with the skills and thinking required for this assignment.
