Dear members,
Some time ago I recall there being a brief discussion on the list about donating used computing equipment. Over the weekend, a not-for-profit organization based on the Downtown Eastside, Reboot Computers, was broken into and had over $10,000 worth of equipment stolen. Because of their location and the fact that they sell used goods, they don't qualify for insurance, so there is no formal mechanism by which they might recoup this loss.
