Faculty Information Session, Sexual Assault Prevention and Support Centre
Please join us for a Faculty Information Session on "The Proposal for a Sexual Assault Prevention & Support Centre (SAPSC) at SFU.
Two of the primary authors of the proposal, Kaayla Ashlie and Laura Scheck, will be providing a summary of their proposal for an all-genders Sexual Assault and Prevention Support Centre (SAPSC) at SFU. As executive members of the Gender, Sexuality, & Women's Studies Student Union, Kaayla and Laura spearheaded this initiative and have been working on this proposal, with the help of a larger SAPSC Committee, since August of 2015. The proposal has been created with the help of many SFU students and staff, including representatives from Health & Counselling, the Human Rights and Equity Office, Campus Security, Out on Campus, Women's Centre, SFPIRG, and others.
