Dear colleagues, Faculty members from a number of departments across the university have signed the attached open letter to President Petter asking him to intervene on behalf of 160 food service workers who have been laid off as a result of the contract for food service provision being awarded to Sodexo. The workers are asking the university and Sodexo for their jobs, their union, and their contract. The letter was delivered to President Petter this morning.
