Re: Faculty open letter to President Petter regarding food service workers at SFU

I'd like to thank the petition's organizers. The people who work in food services at SFU are invariably friendly, polite and helpful (in my limited experience). They are an asset to SFU. In the absence of some finding that there are widespread problems, it is brutal to turf these people, many of whom are in their mid-40's or older, from their jobs.
