The organizers of this edition of the West Coast Optimization meeting are Ben Adcock and Tamon Stephen. The program committee consists of Ben Adcock, Philip Loewen, Joe Paat, Tamon Stephen and Amy Wiebe. Please send requests for information to Tamon Stephen.

Registration is by e-mail to tamon (at sfu.ca). There will be a fee for the dinner on Friday, but technical sessions are free. Please do register if you plan to come.

 Accommodation and Parking

The is a new boutique hotel, the Civic, right by campus, which offers rooms at downtown prices. Indeed, following Covid it is challenging to find any reasonably priced rooms within a short walk of the Skytrain system. Slightly cheaper than the Civic is the Inn at the Quai in New Westminster is about 15 minutes away by car or Skytrain. Hotels in Metrotown (Burnaby) and Downtown Vancouver also provide good access (30 or 50 minutes respectively) to campus via the Skytrain.

The are more options for those who are driving, including the Sandman Guildford and a Days Inn.

Pay parking for visitors to SFU Surrey is available in outdoor lots off 102nd Ave. (across from the main entrance) and on University Ave. just south of 102nd Ave. There is also a parkade for the mall (enter from University Blvd. at the traffic light between 102 Ave. and Old Yale Road, there is currently significant construction happening near there). The organizers have a limited number of passes available for levels (P3) and (P4) of the parkade. To use these, please e-mail Tamon your licence plate number in advance.
