Fraser Valley Real Estate Board Academic Library
The Fraser Library is the Surrey branch of Simon Fraser University Library and offers a full range of services to support teaching, research and lifelong learning at Simon Fraser University's Surrey campus. Located in SRYC Podium 3, the Fraser Library also offers study spaces, and access to library collections and equipment (including laptops and phone chargers) and a gaming room.
LIBRARY SERVICES
Get help from the Library’s research experts through Ask a Librarian, in-person at the Research Help Desk or by email and chat. You can also get started on your own by browsing the Library's research guides.
Access thousands of online journals, ebooks and databases via the SFU Library Catalogue. Request digital delivery of book chapters or place a hold on print books from any library location for pick-up at the Fraser Library.
EQUIPMENT BORROWING
Fraser Library (Surrey) loans equipment to support teaching, learning, and research by faculty, staff and students at Surrey campus.
The SIAT equipment collection is available to current SIAT faculty, staff and students. Additional loan guideline and restrictions will apply.
The Education equipment collection is available to current Education faculty, staff and students.
STUDENT LEARNING COMMONS
The Student Learning Commons (SLC) provides expert and friendly help with academic writing, learning, and study strategies — in an environment of collaboration, discussion, and peer learning.
THE GAMES ROOM
Unique to the Fraser Library, the Games Collection and Room at Fraser Library (SFU Surrey) are here to support teaching, learning, and research by SFU faculty, staff and students. Beyond academic life, though, these games are here for the broader well-being of the SFU community, providing opportunities for social connection and engagement. Board game, console games and select consoles are avaliable to borrow for 21 days.
The Games Room also has a select collection of free-to-play online games! Simply find the designated online games station in the Fraser Library Games Room to play.
