The award winning project, Digital Sq'éwlets, is best described as a digital community biography that focuses on what it means to be Sq’éwlets today. It is a truly collaborative project that was led by community leaders, Elders, and youth who partnered with archaeologists, anthropologists, historians, media specialists and other content experts with enduring ties to the community. 

This website includes teacher resources that are aligned with the First Peoples’ Principles of Learning as established by the First Nation Education Steering Committee (FNESC) in British Columbia (BC). Benefits of using these resources include: Alignment with current and transforming curriculum in BC; Access to primary sources of information created by and approved by the community; and the inclusion of activities and assessments to support use in the classroom.
