SFU Continuing Studies Campuses
Located in downtown Vancouver, Surrey, and Burnaby, our three campuses are convenient and accessible. Most Continuing Studies courses take place at the Vancouver and Surrey campuses as well as the Surrey City Centre Library.

The SFU Vancouver campus consists of several buildings, all of which are conveniently based near Waterfront Station, the main transit terminus for the SeaBus, SkyTrain, Helijet, and West Coast Express commuter train. Instructional resources include a fully computerized library, classrooms, lecture theatres, and computer labs.

Where is SFU Vancouver located?
SFU's Vancouver campus headquarters are in the Harbour Centre complex at 515 West Hastings Street, just south of Waterfront Station. Look for Harbour Centre's Vancouver lookout observation deck at the top of the building.
How do I get to SFU Vancouver?
SFU Vancouver is easily accessible by public transit or car. If you take transit to Waterfront Station, walk south across Cordova Street to Harbour Centre. You can also reach Harbour Centre from Seymour and Hastings streets.

Where can I park my car?
There is no SFU parking at Harbour Centre. Nearby parking lots include 450 W Cordova Street, between Richards and Homer. This lot offers a reduced parking rate to SFU Continuing Studies students with a valid parking pass from Monday to Friday. We distribute these passes to interested students in the first class. The rates are as follows:
Monday to Friday
- Arrive between 2 pm and 4 pm, leave between 6 pm and 10:30 pm: $6
- Arrive between 4 pm and 6 pm, leave between 6 pm and 10:30 pm: $3
Saturday
- No student discount. All day: $6
You may also use the Harbour Centre underground parkade after 6 pm on weekdays or all day Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holidays.
Where can I lock up my bike?
Bicycle racks are available at the entrance to Harbour Centre.
How do I find the classroom or lecture theatre?
If you are taking a course, refer to your confirmation letter for the room number. When you are on campus, consult the electronic directory located next to the Samuel and Frances Belzberg library near the Hastings Street entrance. The Campus Security desk, which is located on the main floor next to Registrar and Information Services, can help you with directions.

Where can I buy my textbooks?
Once you have registered for a course, we will notify you of any required textbooks, and you can purchase them from the SFU Bookstore.
Can I get an escort to the parkade or Waterfront Station after an evening class or lecture?
SFU's Safe Walk Program offers an escort to Waterfront Station, the Cordova Street parkade, or anywhere else within a two-block radius of the Harbour Centre building. To use this service, visit the Campus Security desk, which is located on the main floor next to Registrar and Information Services, call 778-782-5029, or dial 12 from a classroom phone.
Can I purchase lunch or dinner on campus?
SFU Vancouver's main building is located above Harbour Centre Mall, which offers several quick-service meal options in the food court (open until 6 pm Monday to Saturday). There are also many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance of Harbour Centre.
