SFU Dining Services Wins Honourable Mention at CAUBO
The Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO) promotes and supports professional management and effective leadership in the administrative affairs of Canadian universities and colleges.
CAUBO's annual Quality & Productivity Awards Program is designed to recognize, reward and share achievements of administrators in the introduction of new services, improvement in the quality of services provided, and the management of human, financial, and physical resources. This simple concept of sharing good ideas has grown into an established best practices program that celebrates the successes of CAUBO members and provides a venue for "spreading the word".
In the 2013 Q & P Awards, SFU received Honourable Mention for its process to redesign and fundamentally overhaul its campus dining services; this process is euphemistically called Food 2.0 !
