Spatial Analysis Weighting Factors After the factors were standardized, we can give different relative weights to each factors. In Idrisi we can assign weights by choosing Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In AHP, a pairwise comparison matrix is used by the user to determine the relative importance of any one factor to all others. Based on the relative importance, the weight for each factor will be calculated. In this project, the pairwise comparison matrix and the weight of each factor is:
WLC In doing MCE, after the constraint was established and factors were weighted, we can use Weighted Linear Combination (WLC) to aggregate them. With WLC, each standardized factor is multiplied by its weight, then summed. After that, the sum is divided by the number of factors. Then, the resultant value of each cell is multiplied by the Boolean constraint, and we will get the final image. |
