BUSSE RESEARCH AWARDS
This award is supported by an endowment that secures its continuity. It recognises Dr. Ewald W. Busse, President of IAG (1985-1989), for his outstanding contributions to gerontological research over three decades.

The Award is presented to two junior or mid-career researchers, one from the biomedical sciences and the other from the social/ behavioural sciences. Awardees are required to present a lecture based on their research. The proposal to establish the award was made by the Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development at Duke University which coordinates the call for nominations and selection of winners.
