What's Zoom?

SFU Zoom is available at no cost to faculty, staff and students.

Zoom is a videoconferencing service that enables real-time collaboration between individuals and groups. Features include:  

  • video and/or audio meetings by computer or phone
  • screen sharing with annotation
  • virtual whiteboard and other collaboration tools
  • integration with popular calendar applications such as Outlook


Zoom Meetings

Sign in with your SFU Computing ID and password, and you'll be signed up to use SFU Zoom right away. You can open Zoom via web browser or download to your devices for more features.

Zoom Webinar is recommended for large classes and events with 300-500 participants
