SFU Innovates a hit at the 2017 #BCTECH Summit
The 2017 #BCTECH Summit was a huge success, attracting more than 5,000 business and technology leaders and entrepreneurs, academics and students.
The SFU Innovates booth was equally successful, and buzzed with excitement. It featured examples of our innovative research, showcased 4D LABS’ facilities and services, and introduced visitors to KEY, SFU’s Big Data Initiative.
Throughout #BCTECH’s various display areas, SFU researchers demonstrated their projects to visitors curious about the life-changing research conducted at SFU.
The summit’s second day focused on youth innovation. The SFU Innovates team set up a special booth where students could take our digital quiz, “Which Type of Innovator Are You?” The quiz was a big hit and inspired students to discover their results and learn more about SFU innovators, and the interesting tech programs that SFU offers.
We could not be prouder of the many people who make up our SFU community, and we look forward to returning next year to the #BCTECH Summit.
