REEL 82 COMMENTARY

1. Directions to church at private home. Disturbance on right channel.

2. At another private home.

3. Distant talk, car passing. Otherwise very quiet ambience. Again, bad disturbances on right channel (2'00" to end). Useless take.

4. Droopy recorded choir, solo singing and hammond organ music, and recorded bell broadcast from speakers over village! Amazing! Classic example of schizophonia. Recorded from street level, out of car window.

5. This is a holiday, sparse traffic. Although microphones were about 50' from the intersection many cars seem very close as they pass in front. Somebody whistling (55", 1'45"), car approaches, idles, takes off close by (1'15"), loud car passes by (7'40"), car stalls, starts, stalls, starts again (9'20").

6. Slightly more local flavour here to the announcers' voices.
