Centre for Online and Distance Education (CODE) offers resources for tutor markers and course authors.

 

 

 

SFU International offers a variety of resources for faculty to enhance international experiences, internationalize the curriculum, and expand research and skills through work overseas and with international visitors.

 

Learning & Instructional Development Centre (LIDC) offers resources on both face-to-face teaching, blended learning, and teaching online, a host of media services and tools and technology for your classroom.

• Teaching + Learning - LIDC provides teaching and learning consulting, as well as teaching enhancement services, for the SFU instructional community. We have a broad range of expertise and have worked with many departments and faculties, as well as clients outside of SFU, from curriculum and course planning, to workshops, assessment and pedagogical scholarship.
• New Media + Design - can help you produce high quality graphics, PowerPoint presentations, and audio and video productions.
• Physical + Virtual Classrooms - To have computer equipment, including internet connectivity and screen projection, set up in your lecture theatre, or to find out what's pre-installed in a room

 

SFU Library is dedicated to providing access to collections, services and facilities of the highest possible quality in support of the teaching, learning, and research goals of the Simon Fraser University community.

• Services to Faculty
• The SFU Library also maintains a Media Collection, which supplies instructional video and film for classroom instruction from its own collection and through rentals from other sources.
• Interactive online tutorial on Understanding and Avoiding Plagiarism to help students learn to recognize plagiarism and develop skills to avoid it, such as correct citation of sources, note-taking, and paraphrasing. If you would like to integrate this tutorial into your WebCT courses, contact Gordon Coleman (604-291-3510).
