Here's two excellent sites relating to Y2K preparedness for colleges and
universities:

Be sure to look at their Readiness Kit! It can be downloaded in .pdf format

United Educators Insurance Risk Retention Group, Inc.

Be sure to download their document in .pdf  "The Year 2000 Challenge for
Higher Education"

Both are excellent for Y2K preparedness and specifically address our
environment. If you haven't begun your Y2K contingency planning process,
the first two documents will certainly help to provide the motivation.
Also, check with your local/state/provincial emergency planning agencies.
Most are taking this threat very seriously.

collection of web sites (including other universities) at

business continuity and emergency preparedness.
