Subject to Subject
The alternating characters represent a subject to subject transition. No consecutive frame consists of the same subject; each frame changes from both men to one to the other.

This type of transition offers different perspectives and can make scenes more dramatic. Just by changing the subject, it creates a moving effect for the viewer. The viewer becomes more involved as they have to connect the changing perspectives to render one scene.
