GEN: Virtually There begins today!

In preparation for the upcoming "Virtually there: Tapping, Tinkering
and Teaching Online" session to be held at the 23rd annual National
Educational Computing conference (NECC), the panel of presenters
invites you to join in a GEN pre-conference discussion to examine the
role of text-based learning in synchronous and asynchronous
environments. Linda Harasim, Curtis Bonk, Sherry Hsi, Linda Polin,
Margaret Riel, Robert Tinker, and Stone Wiske will share their online
teaching and learning spaces, and their experiences with synchronous
"written conversations" and asynchronous conferencing.

Also, it's the final week of our "Enabling Cultural Change in an
ELearning Environment" seminar but it's not too late to join in!
During phase 3, Manon Desjarlais will lead GEN members in a
discussion related to all aspects of "networking" as a context for
cultural change.

Please join us!
