Chapter 3 Order to Chaos: The Evolution of Ramsey Theory

\(\textbf{Summary:}\) The main goal of our Ramsey theory project is to take our viewers on a journey through the key theory, enriching their understanding of math and history in an entertaining way. Our video includes recordings of drawings of our beloved mathematicians and simple proofs of their theorems. We have chosen to focus our work on mathematicians Frank Ramsey, Bartel van der Waerden, Issai Schur, Richard Rado, and briefly Alfred Hales and Robert Jewett and their biggest contributions to Ramsey theory. Our goal was to simplify some of Ramsey theory to be more easily understood, mostly through the usage of drawn examples.
The history of the evolution of Ramsey theory is tied to the key theorems. We hope that included interesting historical facts in conjunction with the simple visual explanations of theorems will help our peers and future see the bigger picture of the course
