My design philosophy is fueled by curiosity, empathy, and optimism. My inquisitive nature propels me to dig deeper and connect ideas that may, at first glance, seem unrelated. My empathy for people and their stories encourages me to design people-centered products and services that satisfy undiscovered or unarticulated needs. I believe my optimism drives my designs and encourages me to strive to deliver intangible values through excellent execution and bold innovation.

me

Hi, I’m Joy, a UX designer with background in Media Culture and Communications. My passion lies in design-driven products in the industry of EdTech and image recognition AI, and I would love to make impacts in these areas with my speciality in visual design and experience design.

Over the past few years I have had the privilege to work with global company like PwC and Canon, non-profits like TEDx, teach undergraduate courses in Design, and present my work at ArtScience Museum of Singapore.

When I am not brainstorming for my next project, you can find me wandering on random streets, playing the violin, or consuming endless hours of literatures. I also have a fascination with flowers and try to incorporate the romance behind it into my work.

I am currently looking for full-time opportunities. Let’s get in touch if you want to collaborate, or even just to chat. In the meantime, feel free to check out my resume, Linkedin or Dribbble.
