POLICY
1. That the Board approves the levying of special fees in the categories listed below by the administrative units in which the fee is assessed.
a. Lab breakage fees.
b. Special course material fees for distance education.
c. Special course material fees for fine arts.
d. Special course material fees for Kinesiology.
e. Special course material fees for all courses in which the purchase of photocopy material is required.
f. Field activity fees (e.g. Latin American Studies field school).
g. Fees for lectures, conferences and non-credit courses.
h. Library fines.
i. Gymnasium charges.
j. Parking fees.
k. Residence Application Fee.
2. That the Board's policy concerning the level of special fees is that, normally they should be set so as to recover direct costs.
3. That the level of special fees will be reported to the Board annually for ratification.
