You're invited to a special Connecting the Dots session to gather peer feedback in a friendly space and get familiar with questions you might encounter when sharing your research projects in cross-sectoral settings such as the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC) Annual Conference and others.

Presented by ACT - Action on Climate Team in partnership with SFU Climate Innovation, Connecting the Dots is a semi-annual meeting series intended to foster an interdisciplinary community of graduate students and post-docs working on climate and sustainability research across different Simon Fraser University Faculties. Learn about new topics and exchange ideas alongside an emerging cohort of systems thinkers, interdisciplinary communicators, and community-engaged collaborators. Connect with peers to discuss the low carbon resilience and nature-based solutions programs of work championed by Dr.Alison Shaw and the ACT team. This is your chance to engage with and experience the far-reaching transdisciplinary climate action and innovation research going on at SFU.
What to expect:
- Hear from students across SFU exploring topics in climate action and sustainability research
- Exchange learnings through graduate student presentations and topical discussions.
- The ACT team will share a high-level updates on the projects and topics underway
- Connect with climate action academics, professionals and practitioners
