Biography

Yichun Dai, born and raised in China, has an undergraduate degree in English from Nanjing University and a master’s degree in linguistics from SFU. She had taught both English and Chinese before joining SFU as part of the management team for the CIDA funded China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development Project, a high level advisory body that provides the Chinese government with policy recommendations in the fields of environmental protection and economic development in order to achieve sustainability. Over the past 15 years, Yichun has become an advocate for a better world through joint efforts by both developed and developing countries. Yichun’s outside interests include reading, classical music, and walking.
