TSSU
TSSU bargaining resumed on September 18
SFU’s bargaining team and the Teaching Support Staff Union (TSSU) bargaining committee resumed collective bargaining on September 18.
In the session, the university put forward proposals regarding the Teaching Assistant compensation structure, Graduate Facilitators and English Language Centre instructors.
TSSU leadership is considering the proposals and the university anticipates receiving response and counter-proposals at the next scheduled bargaining session on Wednesday, September 20.
The university has reiterated its request to meet twice-per-week until an agreement is reached, and is awaiting response from TSSU leadership to schedule bargaining dates beyond September 25.
