Biography

Ashok Sunder Rajan is Principal Technologist at ZeroNode, a Canadian technology practice developing open analytical tools that align datacenter growth with electricity-grid capacity.

He previously served as a Principal Engineer in Intel Corporation's NEX Cloud and Networking Group, where he worked on high-performance datacenter network infrastructure. Building on decades of experience in large-scale digital infrastructure, his current research focuses on the intersection of AI compute, datacenter power systems, and electricity-grid planning.

Through ZeroNode and his research at SFU's School of Sustainable Energy Engineering, Ashok develops open-source modeling frameworks that connect AI workloads, datacenter electrical infrastructure, grid constraints, energy markets, and clean-energy integration.
