Council
The IAG is governed by a Council with representatives from each member society based on the number of members enrolled.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee, which consists of the President, Secretary-General, Treasurer, Past-President, President-Elect, and the Regional Chairs holds office for the period starting with the end of each World Congress and extending to the beginning of the next. The President-Elect of the Association has the responsibility for organizing the next Congress.
