Rachelle Louden

Rachelle Louden is a PhD student in the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University. Her research examines disinformation and influence operations as forms of hybrid and information warfare, with a focus on online polarization, technology-facilitated political violence, cybercrime, and their implications for democratic institutions and public safety. Her doctoral research has been funded by the Department of National Defence through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).

Rachelle currently works as a Crime Analyst, where she conducts advanced crime analysis, trend assessment, and strategic reporting to support evidence-led decision-making. She previously served as an instructor in the Law Enforcement Studies program at the Justice Institute of British Columbia and taught graduate-level courses in Intelligence Analysis.
