Who We Are
The Inclusive Environments Lab at Simon Fraser University is led by Dr. Atiya Mahmood, a professor in the Department of Gerontology. The lab currently hosts three ongoing projects.:
- Stakeholder Walkability/Wheelability Access in Neighbourhoods (SWAN), a sub-project of Mobility, Accessibility, and Participation of People with Disabilities (MAP)
- Project Sidewalk for Burnaby, a chapter of Makeability Lab's Project Sidewalk
- NeighbourABLE Vancouver
