RETURN TO CAMPUS

SFU MOVES TO STAGE 3 IN CAMPUS RECOVERY PLAN

Last week, SFU moved to Stage 3 of our Campus Recovery Plan as part of the university’s gradual, safe return to campus, in preparation for the fall term. The phased return over the summer will help staff and faculty get more comfortable being on campus and begin to make important in-person connections.

The use of non-medical masks and physical distancing will continue to be required in those courses with existing safety plans. As SFU has moved to Step 3 of our Campus Recovery Plan, non-medical masks and physical distancing will be recommended and no longer required in all indoor common areas. Please be respectful of individuals’ decisions about masks. Visit our FAQs to learn more about campus safety measures.

The experience of the pandemic has been different for everyone. Some are looking forward to our return to campus and others may feel anxious or worried about what this change will bring. If you or someone you know needs support, visit the Human Resources website for a list of resources available including crisis intervention, counselling, coaching, online resources, training and apps.

SFU CONTINUING STUDIES CELEBRATES 50 YEARS

VAN TRUONG HELPS KEEP SFU BPK IN MOTION

Motivated to contribute to the global fight against COVID-19, health geography professor Valorie Crooks discusses how interactive maps are helping British Columbians better understand pandemic management and where public health efforts are needed most.
