Recruiting leading international researchers

The Government of Canada is investing $1.7 billion in the new Canada Impact+ Research Chairs program to recruit internationally renowned researchers with expertise in the Government of Canada’s eight strategic priority areas to address national and global challenges. These include quantum, cybersecurity and AI, cleantech, community and climate resilience, health, and food security.
