Getting to the Hospital
By Car
Drop-Off: There is area for taxis or rides to stop right outside the North Entrance doors (yellow arrow on the Campus Map) to the hospital on 96 Ave.
Parking: Although there are several parking options (dark grey on Campus Map) it can be difficult to find a space – allow 15 minutes or more to find parking. The closest parking lot to SCAI is the North Parkade, located along 96 Ave (purple arrow in the Campus Map). If you park on lower levels, take the parkade stairs or elevator to the Roof Level of the parkade and proceed to the North Entrance to your right as you exit the parkade.

By Transit
Skytrain: The nearest skytrain stop is King George Skytrain station.
From there see busses below, or consider:
Walking: a 10 minute walk south on King George Blvd to 96 Ave, then turn left (East) on 96 Ave and after about 150m the North Entrance will be on your right.
Shuttle: a free shuttle bus runs between 6am and 8pm to the North Entrance, with planned departures at :00 and :03 of each hour. The shuttle also runs from Cerntal City Tower roughly 9 minutes earlier.
- For the return trip, the shuttle departs the North Entrance at :09 and :39 of each hour
- Note: no service during driver breaks from 10:22–10:50 and 17:52–18:20
Bus: Routes R1, 321, .... stop near the King George Blvd - 96th Avenue intersection.
Bicycle
There is a bike rack to the left of the North Entrance. Use your own lock and leave bicycle at your own risk.
Arriving at SCAI
Research Participants
When you arrive for your research appointment, enter the North Building from 96 Ave and wait in the outer foyer (between the sets of sliding doors) by the elevator. Your study coordinator will meet you there and escort you into SCAI. The foyer elevator is indicated by yellow star on the Campus Map above. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Patients
When you arrive for your clinical MRI exam, enter the North Building from 96 Ave and proceed through the lobby to the stairs or elevator at the back of the lobby. Descend to the 1st floor to the Medical Imaging Reception to check-in for your exam. The elevators to Medical Imaging are indicated by a purple star on the Campus Map. Please arrive at the Medical Imaging Reception at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
