Strong lensing and time-delay measurements

Measurements of the time delays between the multiple images of gravitationally lensed quasars at high redshifts are recognized to possess complementary information to other probes in constraining cosmological parameters. I will describe the basic physics of the time delay due to strong lensing and some of the technical difficulties in its measurements. I then describe how we can do cosmology with such information.
