Overview
An array of compass needles mounted on pivots may be used to demonstrate magnetic domains.

- [1] Bar magnet
- [1] Overhead projector
Script
- Place the compass array on the overhead projector. Note the direction of the needles.
- Place the bar magnet beneath the compass array. Note the direction of the needles.

Technicals
- The compass array consists of 24 compass needles (4 x 6) mounted on plexiglass. We have two identical units of the compass array.
