Overview
A large petri dish containing multiple clear and orange beads that are initially separated is shaken. Both the clear and orange beads become uniformly distributed throughout the container.

Equipment
- [1] Large petri dish
- Many clear and orange beads
Classroom Assembly
- Place the clear beads on one side of the petri dish and the orange beads on the other side. Remove some beads if desired.
- Close the lid of the petri dish.
Script
- Shake the petri dish.
