Our Team

Dr. Hali Kil

Dr. Hali Kil is the director of the All Families Lab. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Simon Fraser University, and concurrently holds Afilliate Investigator status at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and Fraser Health Authority. Her research program identifies how parents can raise happy and kind children.

Dr. Yuthika Girme

Dr. Yuthika Girme is an Associate Professor and the Lab Director for the SECURE Lab at Simon Fraser University. Her research program broadly assesses when and for whom intimate relationships and singlehood foster greater wellbeing.

Amanda Hodges

Amanda is an undergraduate student at Simon Fraser University working towards her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Psychology. Amanda has been a member of Dr. Kil’s All Families Lab since 2023 where she has contributed to projects on family interactions, mindful parenting, and adolescent well-being. Her primary research interests include developmental disabilities, child mental health, and adolescent mental health

Victoria Martins Mendonca

Victoria is currently an MA student in the SECURE Lab. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Psychology at the University of Guelph in 2023. Victoria is eager to continue researching romantic relationships, attachment, and other dynamics that influence individuals, couples, and well-being experiences.
