Saeed Malekloo

Saeed is a Ph.D. candidate at the CREATE research lab at SFU/SEE. He received his Bachelor of Applied Science in mechanical engineering from the Power and Water University of Tehran in 2011.

As of January 2018, he is a Master's graduate of the Sharif University of Technology with a major in Automotive Powertrain Engineering. As a master's student, Saeed investigated the performance of Non-catalyzed Diesel Particulate Filters installed on the bus fleet of Tehran. His expertise is in Real Driving Emissions Measurement. He has worked on many projects concerning the emission measurement of the vehicles of Tehran since 2017.

For his Ph.D. program, he will primarily investigate the impact of using alternative fuels on emissions of the bus fleet of Metro Vancouver, employing portable emission measurement systems (PEMS).
