The festive SFU Indigenous Day on Thursday, Sept. 28 celebrated Canada’s vibrant indigenous cultures through a variety of traditional song and dance performances. There were storytelling and lessons in hoop dancing and sla-hal (an indigenous game). As well, almost 40 artisans displayed and sold their wares.

Hosted by SFU's First Nations Student Association, the  annual event attracted hundreds of onlookers and participants.
