Support Skoden

You can be part of sustaining the only student-led Indigenous film festival conceived annually by an interdisciplinary group of students in a university course. The festival is funded by Simon Fraser University's School for the Contemporary Arts and the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology, with the generous support of sponsors, donors, and ticket buyers. From screening fees to catering and event staff, putting together an in-person film festival requires a great deal of effort and financial commitment.

You can also directly support the dedicated students who spend a semester planning every aspect of the Skoden Indigenous Film Festival by establishing a scholarship or bursary to support their costs of taking this course where they gain invaluable hands-on experience and Indigenous cultural knowledge.

You can donate any amount by clicking the button below, or if you would like more information about how you can support Skoden, please reach out to Natalie Brenton, Senior Associate Director of Advancement for the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology, at nbrenton@sfu.ca.
