An introduction to the history, purpose, methods, and theories of museums. Emphasis on the role and relation(s) museums have to society. Topics will include collecting and caring for objects, designing and marketing exhibitions, ethics of managing Indigenous heritage, and public engagement strategies. Breadth-Humanities.
