Indigenous Land-Based Pedagogies and Practices EDUC 453 (3)

Students will learn how Indigenous land-based pedagogies and practices can be introduced in K-12 classrooms and other educational settings. Using theory and practice, students will explore respectful ways to learn from and about land from Indigenous perspectives, including the role of land and ways to teach using land-based practices. Prerequisite: Six units of EDUC courses or equivalent.
