Indigeneities Around the World GSWS 337 (4)

An examination of the key concepts and frameworks of global colonialism and Indigenous feminisms to explore historical formations, sovereignty, land rights, Indigenous knowledges, and Indigenous struggles/movements for decolonization around the world. It will begin by centering frameworks of Indigeneities and transition to sites of Indigeneity around the world. Students with credit for GSWS 215 under the title "Introduction to Indigenous Feminisms and Global Indigeneities" or GSWS 320 under the title "Indigeneities Around the World" or GSWS 321 under the title "Indigeneities Around the Globe" may not take this course for further credit.
