Examines the social contexts of policy and policymaking and its interaction with law, power and inequality. Offers sociological and socio-legal analysis of issues such as welfare and poverty, social inequality, tax politics, bureaucracy, and movements for policy change. Prerequisite: SA 101 or 150 or 201W.
