Transportation and Urban Development URB 460 (4)

Explores the relationships between mobility, economic activity, and social interaction that influence urban development. Topics considered will include the spatial dynamics underlying travel behaviour, the vehicle and infrastructure technology used in meeting mobility needs, the organizations that deliver transportation services and the public policies that govern an urban transportation system. Prerequisite: 30 units. Students with credit for URB 660 may not take this course for further credit. Breadth-Social Sciences.
