Global Health with Justice: Equity-Centred Research and Practice HSCI 360 (3)
Global health aims to improve health and equity worldwide. Achieving justice in global health requires addressing systemic inequalities, resource disparities, and colonial legacies. The course explores new global partnerships and community engagement that are essential to decolonizing global health and promoting fair, inclusive, and locally driven health systems and outcomes. Prerequisite: 45 units. Recommended: HSCI 160. Students with credit for HSCI 199 under the title "Global Health and Justice" may not take this course for further credit.
