New VPFA Website is now live

Our newly revamped VPFA website is now live. Please take this opportunity to visit the new site and see all the additional features it offers.

New VPFA Website

The VPFA website was designed to be a more user-friendly, one-stop, central hub for all VPFA-related news, events, learning, recognition and workplace resource needs.  

A big thank you to all VPFA staff for their valued input and collaboration towards the creation of the new site, gathered from consultations with VPFA leaders as well as through the 2021 VPFA Communications Survey where they contributed their say on what they wanted the VPFA website to offer and be:

• A place to easily reference the VPFA’s vision, values and priorities 
• A place to recognize and engage with leaders and other VPFA staff
• A central place to find the information they need, quickly and easily, when and where they need it

The VPFA Website is intended to evolve and we look forward to continued input and website submissions in order to make this online interactive space the best it can be.

VPFA 2025 Strategic Framework

The ‘VPFA House’ as we affectionately call it, outlines what we want our future strategic direction for the VPFA over the next three years to look like. The living Framework will reside on our new website so we can all easily reference the important information we need in order to know, internalize and implement the VPFAs focus, priorities and vision into our day-to-day work.

As we are looking as a university to What’s Next, things may evolve over the next months and years, however, this Framework will serve as a solid foundation to build upon as we move forward as one VPFA community.

More to Come

When visiting the new site, you may note that there is also a portion behind MFA login. Our internal Sharepoint Online site (a first across SFU) was created just for VPFA staff and will be officially launching over the next few days with more information to come shortly.
