Drafts of Research Proposals

By midnight on January 16, submit to Suzanne and Nick, as well as your two assigned colleagues, a working draft of your research proposal, using the sections Suzanne outlined on January 9.

Peer reviews

Submit the two peer reviews you did to the authors, as well as to Nick and Suzanne, by midnight on January 23.

Ethics

By the end of class on January 30, students must submit (to Milena) their finalized research ethics applications.

   

February 6

Methodology Powerpoint

Complete your powerpoint presentation on your chosen methodology.

These will be posted online and will furnish a typology of qualitative research methods.

   

February 27

Book Report

Complete a 3-slide powerpoint OR 3 minute video blog ('vlog') on a book that uses the same methodology you use.

How does this book deepen & extend your understanding of the methodology you're using in your project?

   

April 18

1. FINAL PAPER!

Complete your 12-14 page research report.

2. Submit your field journal to Suzanne by midnight on April 18.
