Vancouver Mural Festival
The purpose of this project is to choose and work with a real world client. We saw opportunity as a team to work with the mural organization within Vancouver, Vancouver Mural Festival (VMF) and decided to work on identifying current problems within their process.
Through 12 weeks, we applied methods such as journey mapping, participatory workshops to help identify problems and potential openings for VMF. While working close with one of the executive from VMF, we tried our best to tailored our design solution towards their painpoints and desires.
Through these initial researches, we came up with initial approaches which tackles the issue of VMF's concern such as getting more people to intereact with the murals on their own time, and allowing their festival to become more accessible.
