  • I am a new Ph.D. graduate in Human Computer Interaction (HCI). My primary research is the full process of design, develops, and evaluation of a novel cognitive system for interactive virtual humans, to facilitate an enjoyable human-like interaction (in collaboration with Moving Stories & Movement and Meaning projects). My design decisions and interpreting the research data are informed by:

    - Deep understanding of human decision making process and perception developed by years of research on psycology and bilogy of human behavior and modeling emotion and personality.

    - Vision formed from supervising over 100 design projects, encouraging students to communicate their story/message through visual/web design, and apply visual literacy and people-centric thinking.

    - Understanding the cycle of software/ app development process as a result of strong software engineering background.
